THE CABIN

Blue Forest Manor is a quintessential Muskoka cottage surrounded by 2 waterfronts – 3 Mile Lake and the Dee River! This private location offers serenity and peace while enjoying the amenities of a Muskoka cottage. The lake is calm and easily accessible via the private dock less than 100 steps from the cottage doors. Enjoy the tranquility of water activities such as kayaking, canoeing or swimming in the lake! While relaxing inside, you’ll love the large Muskoka window overlooking the water!

THE SPACE

The Great Hall is on the main floor and features a large living area with loft overseeing this space. Kids love going up on the loft and playing. The master bedroom and 2 main level bedrooms come off this area. The kitchen is close by and then leads to the beautiful Muskoka lounge room which is overhanging the side of the cottage – gorgeous! The lower level which is a walkout to the rear has a large area with games and space for kids to play. There is a basketball arcade and tent which children find quite fun. TVs on both floors with access to satellite television.

This property is accessible by road and has 3 comfortable parking spots.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

The property is on 3 Mile Lake and the Dee River – this means two waterfronts. It’s quite gorgeous and there is a very large area to hang out with an pine-tree canopy that covers the fire pit area. Amazing.

Beautiful cottage! This 3000 square foot home sits in a very private piece of land next to a large lake. When we arrived it was spotlessly clean and fully furnished, with full amenities including stove/refrigerator/barbecue, lots of cooking equipment including pots/pans/cutting boards, cups, plates, and dishwater. There were three bathrooms each with a shower, television with cable, and very fast wifi. The main area is a large open living space with huge windows overlooking the backyard. The master bedroom felt enormous, complete with a king size bed, ensuite bathroom with shower, and window overlooking the forest. There are four spacious bedrooms in total, plus two additional beds in the upstairs loft. The backyard stretched down to a lake, and the property came with access to a canoe and kayak as well as plenty of lifejackets. There was also an area to make an outdoor bonfire and plenty of firewood. The knowledgeable and strikingly handsome owner Jason was very friendly and quickly available via phone call to answer any of our questions.

The combination of the trees, leafy canopies, serene lake and absolutely charming and spacious cottage worked wonders and left us looking forward to our next visit. We spent 3 nights and 4 days at this beautiful cottage . Very clean and spacious . It was very peaceful, secluded from the rat race of the world . There was a basketball game in the basement that the kids loved along with board games for the kids. The Muskoka room off the kitchen was great to sit in and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. The kids enjoyed going out on the canoe and the kayak. Though it was too cold to go swimming in the lake it was very calm and I am sure in full summer the lake would be very enjoyable. Over all a fantastic experience and left energized

This cottage is truly breathtaking! We had an amazing and relaxing weekend. It features a large Muskoka window with a breathing taking view overlooking the lake. With 7 beds, it slept our 5 adults and 5 kids comfortably. The kids had plenty of room to run around in its walk out basement. The land is large, well kept and with beautiful greenery.
